Find Out MoreAfter numerous beerfestivals, 1100 beers on untappd, and evenings of talking about beer, it became time to start brewing our own. Starting with 'Torrent' an American pale ale with loads of Cascade hops. It was an immediate success. We became inspired!
Next we decided to brew something a little daring and set our minds to a Christmas stout full of Christmas herbs like fresh ginger, cinnamon and allspice. A little insecure we stored the fermenter away. But on Christmas Eve 'Santa's tracker' made our desert! It was better than we hoped. We got the hang of it! Time to play around with different hops and herbs, thus resulting in batch #3 honey sage ale, bittered by more cascade hops. Currently resting in the bottle, with less than a week to go.
What's cooking now in the fermentor might be the very best beer we created yet: a reddish amber ale, created with 2 different grains, and 3 different very nice hops: Nelson Sauvin, Wakatu and last but not least Simcoe hops. A very secret pre tasting blew our minds.
If you ask me how you can distinguish a Curleez&ME beer? It's that special voooomp sound when you open the swingtop cap. And ofcourse the love that goes in the beer!
